The Task Force on Review of Civil Service Pay Policy and System published an interim report and a consultation paper on its Phase I Study on 25 April 2002 for a one-month consultation.

 Having regard to public comments received since 25 April, the Task Force announced today (2 May) that the consultation period will be extended until 30 June 2002.
